Dental implants are a restorative dentistry treatment that not only looks like real teeth, they also function and feel like natural teeth. They offer numerous benefits over other teeth replacement options and improve your overall quality of life.

Implants naturally restore missing teeth

Dental implants involve the surgical placement of a small titanium post into the jawbone. This biocompatible screw gradually fuses to the surrounding jawbone over time, forming an artificial tooth root that serves as a strong anchor for your replacement tooth.

Implants are a versatile tooth loss solution

Dental implants are highly versatile. They can be used to replace just one missing tooth or a full arch of missing teeth. We may replace a single tooth with a crown or multiple teeth with a  bridge or implant-retained dentures.

Implants improve your overall oral health

Not only do dental implants offer unrivaled confidence while chewing, speaking and laughing, they also prevent bone loss. When teeth are missing, the jawbone becomes weak and loses tissue. Dental implants are the only teeth replacement option that prevents and reverse this process.

So glad I found Dr. Tse and his team. Everyone is very nice and Dr. Tse is the best dentist I've had in years. Highly recommended. Note to people afraid of the dentist like me: you'll be comfortable here, I promise!

I first met Dr. Tse when he was working in fredericksburg. I have been sold on him since. My comfort is always his utmost concern, something I have never experienced at a dentist before. I now drive an hour to his office and I wouldn't go anywhere else

Frequently asked questions

Are implants covered by insurance?

In most cases, yes. Dental insurance will usually cover a portion of your implant treatment cost, depending on your plan. Our friendly team is here to help you and will answer any questions you may have about your insurance, deductible, and all treatment costs.

How much do dental implants cost?

The full cost of your dental implant procedure will depend on your overall treatment needs, such as the extent of restoration required to complete your smile. Our team strives to provide our implant dentistry services at fair and affordable prices.

Do you offer sedation?

We offer laughing gas to patients undergoing a variety of treatments and procedures. We also offer oral conscious sedation for lengthier or more complex procedures.

What if I don’t get an implant?

If you’ve lost one or more teeth due to trauma, disease, or decay, it’s important to replace those teeth as soon as you can. Missing teeth can impact your oral health as well as your overall physical well-being, causing problems biting, chewing, and eating properly. You also have a greater chance of developing gum disease, TMJ, crooked teeth, and other issues if you go without replacing your missing teeth.

Do implants hurt?

You will require a minor surgical procedure to place the implants in your jaw. Following your procedure, it’s normal to experience some pain and swelling while your mouth heals. Our team will provide you with detailed postoperative instructions and prescribed pain relievers (as needed) to help you manage any discomfort you may experience.
